The movie saw a huge increase from its meagre Rs 7 lakh opening day haul in the Hindi region. As of Monday, Karthikeya 2 has earned a total of Rs 16.30 crore.

According to Taran Adarsh, an expert on the film industry, the Bollywood version of the film is performing well at the box office. On Monday, Taran Adarsh tweeted his praise for the film’s performance, saying that it has nearly doubled its first-weekend earnings “Moviegoers still favour #Karthikeya2, which is racking up box office successes. No one saw Karthikeya 2 coming, but it has already surpassed the box office totals of the Bollywood films starring Aamir Khan (Laal Singh Chaddha), Taapsee Pannu (the recently released Dobaaraa), and Akshay Kumar (Raksha Bandhan).
