NEW DELHI: Reduction in prices of LPG cylinders-According to reports, starting today, September 1, 2022, oil marketing companies will charge Rs 91.50 less for a 19-kg LPG cylinder intended for commercial usage. The oil marketing companies (OMCs) recently reduced the prices of commercial LPG cylinders, which is great news for customers.
The price of a commercial 19-kilogram liquid petroleum gas cylinder has dropped by Rs 91.50 as of today, September 1, 2022, as reported by Oil Marketing Companies.
The new price for a commercial 19-kilogramme cylinder of Indane gas is Rs 1885, up from the previous cost of Rs. 1976 07. Similarly, the price of a commercial LPG cylinder will go up by Rs 1995.50 in Kolkata, down by Rs 1844 in Mumbai, and down by Rs 2045 in Chennai, from Rs 2141 previously.
The majority of 19 kg cylinders are used in commercial kitchens, restaurants, cafes, and tea shops, thus this price drop will be welcome news for them.
However, the cost of LPG cylinders sold in the United States remains the same. It’s worth noting that the OMCs typically announce LPG price increases twice a month, at the start and the mid of the month.
