People sitting in front of the bulldozer
According to the information, people in the Shaheen Bagh area are opposing the action of MCD. When the MCD’s bulldozer reached the area, the local people present there sat in front of him. People raised slogans against MCD and created a ruckus. At present, the bulldozer of MCD is not able to move forward due to the opposition of the people.
Heavy police force deployed
Even before the action of MCD, people started gathering here. People of the area say that MCD has not seen encroachment for the last 15 years. But now suddenly the government is seeing encroachment here. After the protest of the people, police and other security forces have been deployed on the spot. The police are trying to remove people from the front of the bulldozer. AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan has reached out to protest against the action in Shaheen Bagh.
