India’s Rohit Sharma and the company will play South Africa in a three-match Twenty20 International series starting on Wednesday in Thiruvananthapuram, an important step on the route to the Twenty20 World Cup 2022. (September 28). The Indian team that managed to defeat T20 title holders Australia 2-1 in a series will almost definitely make some changes to its playing XI for this series.
Because of Hardik Pandya’s absence from the series, Rishabh Pant will replace him in India’s starting lineup for the first Twenty20 match against South Africa.

Rishabh Pant, who was left out of the starting XI for all three games against Australia due to the decision to rest all-rounder Hardik Pandya, is poised to return to the lineup. Pant, along with his main competition for the final spot in the starting XI, Dinesh Karthik, will be counted on to close off games.
Even though Bhuvneshwar Kumar was already rested due to his high exertion in T20 cricket, Team India’s pacer Mohammed Shami has not yet fully recovered from COVID-19.
Arshdeep Singh, the Punjab Kings’ left-arm pacer, will almost certainly be included in the starting lineup for the inaugural game versus South Africa now that Bhuvi is sidelined.

After India’s loss to Pakistan in the Super 4 game of the Asia Cup 2022 earlier this month, Arshdeep was the target of vicious online harassment and has since had a tumultuous international cricket career.
While Yuzvendra Chahal & Axar Patel will be the spinners, the remainder of the bowling attack, including Jasprit Bumrah & Harshal Patel, is not expected to change.
