The opening day takes for the film were predicted to be between 27 and 29 cr. It seems that the Telugu-language release of the film has been successful. While the English version has succeeded, the Hindi one has not. Filmmaker Puri Jagannath helms the sports drama Liger. Vijay plays a fighter with speech impediments in the movie.
