Streaming platform Netflix announced the second season of the Korean web series ‘Squid Game’ through its social media account. Netflix shared a teaser on Twitter and wrote, Red Light Green Light, Squid Game is officially back with Season 2. In the second tweet, Netflix shared a special note of director Hwang Dong-Huku.
It took 12 years to make the first season
In this note, Hwang Dong-Huku wrote, ‘We are back with a new round.’ Last year, it took 12 years to bring out the first season of the squid game. But, it took only 12 days for it to become the most popular series of Netflix till date. As a writer, director, and producer of ‘Squid Game’, I want to thank the fans all over the world.
