It is believed that if there is strong heat during Nautapa, then there is good rain during the rainy season. The scientific reason behind this is that due to the strong heat, the process of evaporation from the sea is good, then clouds are formed and it rains. If the heat is not strong then the process of evaporation does not happen properly and a water crisis arises.
