The truth told by the government
After checking the information in the popular post, PIB said that this claim is not true at all. No such loan is being given by the government. Also, PIB has advised people not to share such fake messages. On behalf of PIB, it was said that thieves steal people’s personal information under the guise of a government program. This makes it easy for thieves to break into people’s bank accounts.
Even before this, a message that went viral on Whatsapp said that the Pradhan Mantri Berojgari Bhatta Yojana gives unemployed youth a monthly allowance of Rs 6,000. Not only that, but the message also said that people could now sign up for the scheme. When PIB checked to see if this was true, they found that it wasn’t.
