On Thursday, CWG 2022 in Birmingham will enter its seventh day, which promises to be an eventful one for the Indian delegation.
Athletes from India have already won 18 medals in total at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland, which began on Monday. The 7th day of CWG 2022 in Birmingham begins on Thursday, and the Indian delegation is in for another exciting day.
India’s medal hopes, Murali Sreeshankar and Muhammed Anees Yahiya, will compete in the long jump final on the seventh day of the showpiece event following Saurav Ghosal’s victory in the men’s singles squash on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the final team and individual qualification rounds for gymnast Bavleen Kaur will take place. The Indian team is in for a jam-packed day, as several medal contenders will take to the stage.
