Independence Day 2022:
The 75th anniversary of India’s independence will be marked this year (Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav). To commemorate this momentous occasion, the government has ordered that every home fly the tricolor. On the other hand, if you’ve got some time on your hands while flying kites on the Fourth of July, you can watch some of the best movies ever made at home. We’ve compiled a list of patriotic films based on real-life heroes, not fictional ones from Bollywood.
Raazi
Raazi stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, who have done a fantastic job. Harinder Singh Sikka’s novel “Calling Sehmat” is the basis for the film which tells the story of a Kashmiri girl who is a spy for Pakistan.
Sher Shah
‘Shershaah,’ a film based on the life of Kargil War hero Captain Vikram Batra, starred Siddharth Malhotra as Batra and Kiara Advani as his wife. Assumed the role of Dimple Cheema, his girlfriend at the time.
Bhuj: The Pride of India
‘Bhuj: The Pride of India,’ starring Ajay Devgan, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharad Kelkar, and Nora Fatehi, is available on Disney Plus Hotstar as a streaming feature. The 1971 Indo-Pak war serves as the inspiration for the movie.

One of Vicky Kaushal’s best films ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ was released in the year 2016. The film was well-liked by the people.

In 2002, a biographical film about Bhagat Singh’s life was released. Bhagat Singh was played by Ajay Devgan in Rajkumar Santoshi’s film.
Mangal Pandey: The Rising
In 2002, a biopic about the life of Mahatma Gandhi’s chief minister, Bhagat Singh, was released. Rajkumar Santoshi directed this film, in which Ajay Devgan portrayed Bhag Singh.
Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi
Rani Laxmibai was played by Kangana Ranaut in the 2019 film ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ The film was also directed by Kangana. 1857, the year of India’s revolution against British rule, is depicted in the film’s plot.
