Conway, who has scored the most runs in the current T20I Tri-series in New Zealand, is the top batter in the globe as the competition for the T20 World Cup heats up.
The newest T20I Batter Rankings feature a new top-five, with New Zealand’s Devon Conway joining the likes of Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan, India’s Suryakumar Yadav, and Babar Azam.
Conway, the leading run-getter in the ongoing T20I Tri-series in New Zealand, jumped into the top five of the T20I Batting Rankings after scoring 70 runs without losing a wicket against Bangladesh and 49 runs without losing a wicket against Pakistan. He thus surpassed Aaron Finch and Dawid Malan, who had previously held the top two spots.
He has a current score of 760.

Aiden Markram, a middle-order hitter for South Africa, now sits at No. 4 on the rankings with 777 points, which the New Zealand player closely trails.
Although Rizwan opened the tri-series with a flawless 78, he hasn’t contributed much since then.
His 15-point advantage over Suryakumar has shrunk to just 2 presently, while Babar is a distant third at a 30-point deficit.
As a result of the T20 World Cup held in Australia, there will be three strong contenders for first place.
While this was going on, England’s Mark Wood & Reece Topley were making waves in the Bowling Rankings. Topley, in particular, jumped three spots to finish just outside the top 10 with a career-best rating of 646.

After Topley, he’s England’s highest-ranked pacer in the T20I bowling rankings at No. 18.
Upon taking six wickets at an average of 7.50 in Pakistan throughout the seven-match series, Wood took a staggering 3/34 in the opening Twenty20 International against Australia.
Meanwhile, Topley is England’s highest wicket-taker in Twenty20 Internationals this year after claiming two in the Perth T20I.
Both Jos Buttler & Alex Hales scored heavily thanks to their 132-run initial partnership in the T20I victory in Perth.
While Alex Hales entered the top 100, Jos Buttler jumped four spots to position No.22.
Despite India’s victory in the series against South Africa, Shikhar Dhawan fell six places in the batting rankings for ODIs.
The Indian opener enters at No. 17, with only Virat Kohli & Rohit Sharma (both of whom dipped a touch after skipping the ODI series) higher than him in the rankings.
Because of his bad performance, Quinton de Kock fell to the No. 2 spot in the batting leaderboard for ODIs, making room for Imam ul Haq to go up to the top spot.
Others who made significant jumps in the top 100 batting rankings included Shreyas Iyer, Heinrich Klaasen, and Sanju Samson.
The three-wicket performance in the third ODI helped Kuldeep Yadav break into the top 25.
