In a recent Instagram post, actress Sonam Kapoor and her husband, entrepreneur Anand Ahuja, finally revealed the name of their newborn son. The parents gave their infant the name Vayu Kapoor Ahuja on the anniversary of the first month of his or her life. They revealed Vayu’s first image and discussed the significance of his name. In a letter to their son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, Sonam and Anand Ahuja penned the following: “In the spirit of the force that has breathed new meaning into our lives…In the spirit of Hanuman and Bheem who embody immense courage and strength…In the spirit of all that is sacred, life-giving, and eternally ours.”
The parents proceeded by explaining their reasoning for the baby’s name: “In Hindu texts, Vayu is one of the paanch tatvas. He is the supremely powerful king of wind, the spiritual father of Hanuman, Bheem, and Madhav, and the god of breath. Vayu, the principle of life and intellect in the cosmos, is represented by Praana. Vayu is related to all of the gods of Praana, Indra, Shiva, and Kali. He can extinguish evil just as readily as he can give birth to creatures. Vayu is praised for being bold, valiant, and stunningly attractive. I appreciate your kind thoughts and prayers for Vayu and his family.
The first whole family photo of Sonam, Anand, and Vayu is represented by this one. They were all dressed in matching traditional garb in saffron tones. On August 20, 2018, Sonam and Anand welcomed their baby into the world. The actor celebrated the baby’s first month with the family by showing off his boss baby-themed birthday cake earlier in the day.
