The movie was a big success, according to ZEE5, the streaming video service that showed it for the first time on Dussehra.
Within 48 hours of the movie being streamed on the platform, the platform stated that the movie has racked up 100 crore watching minutes throughout languages and states.
The movie “Karthikeya – 2,” which was made by Abhishek Agarwal Arts & People Media Factory, follows the protagonist Karthikeya as he searches for the truth.
As a consequence of this, he realises the efficacy of the conventional religious practises of India as well as the Tatva of Lord Sri Krishna.
Karthikeya 2 is very dear to me, said director Chandoo Mondeti. We wanted our movie to be seen by as many people as possible since it emphasises Hindu mythology, which symbolises India’s beautiful diversity.
It was only conceivable because of ZEE5’s reach. The entire team worked hard to make it a success, and I’m happy to see that it has done well not only in cinemas but also in its digital debut. Another significant milestone for the movie was reaching 100 crore watching minutes in 48 hours, which is something we can all be proud of.
“I am overjoyed with the affection that the public has poured on ‘Karthikeya 2,'” actor Nikhil Siddhartha stated. That seems strange to me at the moment.
We had no idea this project would gain so much love and support when we originally started it. But the response the movie has had both during its theatrical run and during its World Digital Premiere on ZEE5 has truly blown me away.
A flood of letters and comments praising my performance and the film as a whole have poured in ever since it was posted online. They have my eternal gratitude, and I’m glad they connected with the movie.
