Bhool Bhulaiya 2 Movie Review: If you are a fan of Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan, then their new film has come for you. In the film Bhool Bhulaiya 2, senior actor Tabu is in the lead and double role.
If you have not seen any comedy movie for a long time, you are very much wishing and if you are fond of watching horror comedy then come and watch Bhool Bhulaiya 2 without reading the review. If you keep your mind at home, you will laugh and laugh fiercely throughout the movie, but do not forget to compare Akshay-Vidya with the original ‘Bhool Bhulaiya’, otherwise, you will find it a cheaper version instead of its upgraded version.
Cast: Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani, Tabu, Milind Gunaji, Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra etc.
Director: Anees Bazmee
Star Rating: 2.5
Where to watch: In theaters
The story is again of Manjulika, who comes from Bengal with her father and her sister Anjulika to a Raja Saheb (Milind Gunaji) in Bhawanigarh, Rajasthan, where her father has got a job. But Manjulika does not like her father’s attachment to Anjulika, so she learns black magic to take revenge and when Raja Kunwar Saheb decides to marry her sister instead of her, angrily decides to kill her father. Later, Kunwar tries to kill Saheb too but the sister is killed at the hands of Anjulika.
Manjulika becomes a ghost after death
Apparently, she becomes a ghost and a Tantrik comes and locks her in a room by putting an energized trident on the door. The previous film was also about Manjulika being locked in the room, in this too there is a Bengali song, which the whole family used to hum. But the story takes a turn. The daughter of the family, Reet Rathod (Kiara Advani), who is studying outside, but does not tell the truth after the news of her death in the accident she survived to avoid marriage, so that the one she was getting married to, her sister Can get married
She is helped in this by her friend Rohan Randhavi (Kartik Aryan), who tells everyone Reet’s last wish and brings the family back to the same mansion where Manjulika (Tabu) is locked and her lookalike sister Anjulika (Tabu). This is also Tabu) Reet’s sister-in-law. Slowly, the same drama happens, that you saw in the Bhool Bhulaiya. All the ghostly incidents happen, and all the fountains of laughter arise. Along with the pair of Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra, all the scenes of Kartik Aryan are such, which make people laugh a lot.
No Karisma like Akshay-Vidya’s film
This movie (Bhool Bhulaiya 2 Movie) from Bhool Bhulaiya is a little different in that you have been shown a ghost from the very first scene so you do not assume that this movie will also have chemical elasticity like the first one. But still, it will be considered as its cheaper version because neither Kartik Aryan is able to produce the weight that Akshay Kumar did nor Kiara Advani’s charisma like Vidya Balan. The reason for this was also that Kiara got so few scenes compared to Kartik that there was nothing to do. If a song after the interval had not been shot on him, then you would think that he is not in the movie.
All his footage was in the part of Tabu playing a double role, but Tabu’s character was also overexposed, due to which Vidya did not get the strength. People are rarely able to bear the ghost, if shown more, its effect decreases, the same happened with Tabu. Although the entire movie is on his shoulders. In such a situation, the glamor that Kiara could have added, could not happen. The rest of the characters also did not have that strength compared to Bhool Bhulaiya. There was one character in Priyadarshan’s movie, which seemed effective. Like Paresh Rawal, Manoj Joshi, Shiney Ahuja, Ameesha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Vikram Gokhale, and Asrani.
Too many clowns overshadowed the movie
While everyone seems to be clowns in Anees Bazmee’s movie, one character is not serious except Tabu. Milind Gunaji has done perhaps the most ineffective character of his life. In this movie (Bhool Bhulaiya 2 Movie), only confusion is seen. Be it, Sanjay Mishra, be it, Rajpal Yadav, or Rajesh Sharma, all are seen as pranksters. They are only afraid of ghosts as much as they are afraid of a monkey or a dog. In the house where the ghost is roaming around, everyone is doing wedding programs. Leaving him, he does not seem to be running away, even while catching the ghost, women take the children along. In fact, if this were the case, then think and see who would have stayed there even for a moment.
Even though an attempt has been made to make the climax better by putting a tremendous twist in this movie and if you do not put your mind, then it will be the best for most, but if you think about it, then you will feel that why this secret was not revealed earlier. The one who knew this secret, he just had to shout and tell everyone. Would have easily told, who could have stopped the ghost.
The cheaper version was also said because, despite the hard work of Pritam and Tanishk Bagchi, not a single song has hit the tongue of the people, like the last time Hare Krishna Hare Ram and Teri Aankhen Hai Bhool Bhulaiya did. However, this time too, like Hare Krishna Hare Ram, a romantic song has been made on the line of ‘O Kali Calcutta Wali, Tera Vachan Na Jaye Khali’ from the hymn of Kali Maa.
Good movie for kartik aryan fans
The story and dialogues are of Akash Kaushik, who has written many flop films, and whose screenplay has been written by Farhad Samji, who is trying his hand at the story direction. If Anees Bazmee has bet on him, he has not disappointed either. The mistake may have been made in choosing the characters and making them more pranksters than necessary. Bhool Bhulaiya 2 (Bhool Bhulaiya 2 Movie) has not really been successful in the fear that Bhool Bhulaiya used to create in horror scenes. But if you are fond of comedy movies or a fan of Kartik Aryan then this movie is for you. This movie will make you laugh a lot. Some situational comedy scenes have become really good.
