Volvo EX90: The new all-electric, seven-seat EX90 SUV, based on the XC90 luxury SUV, has been unveiled by Swedish automaker Volvo. It will go on sale worldwide in 2024.
The new, seven-seat EX90 SUV from Swedish luxury automaker Volvo is the company’s new flagship model and boasts a 600km range (WLTP cycle).
After the XC40 Recharge and the C40 Recharge, the EX90 is Volvo’s third electric vehicle, and it’s also the first to be supported by a specific EV SPA2 architecture.
The Volvo EX90’s exterior is based on the Concept Recharge and has recognisable Volvo design elements like the Thor’s hammer headlamps.
The 14.5-inch vertically oriented touchscreen for the Volvo EX90 will have 5G connectivity and Volvo’s Google-based infotainment system.
Panoramic sunroof, 25-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system with Dolby Atmos, and phone key technology are further amenities.
The new EX90 EV, according to Volvo, is the safest vehicle they have ever produced. It has Lidar technology, which powers ADAS in conjunction with interior and exterior sensors and cameras.
The Volvo EX90 will produce 408 horsepower and 770 pound-feet of torque, while the Performance variant will have 517 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque.
