The present 1.4L turbocharged petrol engine in the 2023 Kia Seltos may be replaced with a new 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged engine. The new 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine will produce 260Nm of torque and 158bhp of output. It may be equipped with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT transmission. There will also be a 1.5L NA petrol engine with 115 horsepower and a 1.5L diesel engine (115bhp).
