Launch of the 2022 Citroen C5 Aircross: The Indian market has seen the introduction of the new 2022 Citroen C5 Aircross facelift. The ‘Shine’ variation of the upgraded model is available for Rs 36.67 lakh. The initial ex-showroom pricing is this. While the engine configuration hasn’t changed, the vehicle’s look and interior have undergone several adjustments.

Four colour choices are offered for the new C5 Aircross:Cumulus Grey, Pearl White, Eclipse Blue, and Perla Nera Black. The SUV has the same 2.0L diesel engine, which produces 400Nm and 177bhp. The transmission is an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. It has a variety of traction and driving modes. The brand-new Citroen C5 Aircross has an 18.6 kmpl fuel economy rating.
Speaking of the appearance, the new Citroen C5 Aircross for 2022 is equipped with single-piece wraparound headlamps rather than the split headlight configuration that was previously offered. LED DRLs in the form of lines are attached to the front grille and the headlamp cluster. To improve aerodynamics, the front bumper receives an air dam with substantial insert vents. The new C5 Aircross has been equipped with newly created alloy wheels. The side cladding’s block-like design has remained the same, however. Rear taillamp clusters have been modified with rectangular lighting components and a black finish.
The addition of a large 10-inch touchscreen entertainment system within the interior is a significant improvement. Rectangular air vents have taken the place of the previous two-piece cube units. More USB ports, wireless charging, and updated switchgear are added. The automobile manufacturer added front seats with 15 mm more cushioning, heating, and cooling features to increase comfort. It competes with vehicles like the Jeep Compass, Hyundai Tucson, and Volkswagen Tiguan on the market.
