Auto Expo 2023: In recent months, a number of media stories suggested that Tata would introduce a new SUV in the C-segment. This vehicle might be known as the Blackbird (Kali Chidiya in Hindi). But in recent days, it has been claimed that Tata would introduce a new SUV in its stead and will postpone the introduction of the Blackbird SUV. Now that Tata did not unveil the Blackbird SUV at Auto Expo 2023, it seems to be a clear indication that the company has abandoned the project. If Tata had intended to reveal it, it would have been an automobile. It would have been shown during the exhibition, but that didn’t happen. At the Auto Expo 2023, Tata unveiled roughly 20 models, but not a single one was called Blackbird.

Tata Motors offers the sub-4 metre Tata Nexon SUV and the approximately 4.6 metre long mid-size Tata Harrier SUV. Tata Motors aims to introduce a new SUV that will fit anywhere between 4 metres and 4.6 metres in this circumstance. Blackbird was supposed to be brought for this earlier, but it won’t be brought now. Tata will instead deliver its Curve in ICE form. The Curve will also be available in the ICE form, according to Tata.
The Curve was also on display by Tata in early 2022, and it is now on display once again at the 2023 Auto Expo. However, the EV version of the Curve might be shown first, followed by the ICE version at a later date. The Tata Curve will have a coupe shape. The roofline will droop, which might result in reduced headroom in the back seats. It will have a tonne of features.
Numerous innovations will be included, including a sizable infotainment screen, a 360-degree camera, a digital instrument panel, and ventilated seats. The vehicle offers upgraded versions of the 1.2-liter turbocharged gasoline, 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline, and 1.5-liter diesel engines.
