Sony smartphone: will soon introduce a number of highly anticipated smartphones. Online rumours regarding the Xperia Ace 4, a smartphone from Sony’s upcoming Xperia Ace family, started to circulate around a month ago. According to the source, the handset would include a newer display and Snapdragon CPU in addition to other minor upgrades. The Xperia 10 V, another planned mid-range smartphone from Sony, has now had its specs leaked. The Sony Xperia 10 IV, which was released in the first quarter of 2022, will be replaced by this smartphone.
The smartphone would reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 CPU, according to a report from SumahoDigest. Compared to the Snapdragon 695 of the previous generation, the new chipset, which is built on the 4nm node, is more efficient, provides faster Wi-Fi rates, and supports LPDDR5 memory clocked at 3,200MHz.
Specifications for the Sony Xperia 10 IV
The display on the Xperia 10 V will be somewhat larger than the Xperia 10 IV, going from a 6-inch OLED screen to a 6.1-inch OLED panel. The 21:9 aspect ratio and resolution ratio of 1080 x 2520 (FHD+) will not change. It would be fascinating to see whether Sony chooses to stay competitive and ultimately provide a higher refresh rate display in place of the present 60Hz that it has on the Xperia 10 IV.
Battery for a Sony Xperia 10 IV
The 6GB + 128GB combination is back, with just minor changes to the memory and storage configuration. LPDDR5 RAM may be an option in lieu of LPDDR4x RAM for devices of the current generation. The new smartphone will apparently have a slightly larger battery, with a capacity of 5,150mAh as opposed to the current model’s 5,000mAh. On the other hand, the 30W rapid charging rate won’t change.
It’s unclear whether the camera specifications will change if Sony sticks with the same 12MP + 8MP + 8MP configuration as the current generation. The Xperia 10V is reportedly not scheduled to be on sale until the second quarter of 2023.
