Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Bookings: The much-anticipated Grand Vitara SUV will be released in September 2022 by Maruti Suzuki. Toyota’s manufacturing site in Bidadi, Karnataka, has already begun production of the SUV. According to reports, the Grand Vitara has garnered over 40,000 reservations before of its formal market introduction.
The new model will be delivered beginning next month. According to the study, Maruti Suzuki has a delivery backlog of 3,87,000 units. The new Baleno hatchback, which was introduced in February 2022, is yet to be delivered in 38,000 units. Buyers have also reacted well to the recently released Maruti Brezza. Over 30,000 new Brezzas have yet to be delivered. In such a circumstance, 40 thousand reservations for the new Grand Vitara have come.
The pricing of the new Maruti Grand Vitara is estimated to range between Rs 9.50 lakh and Rs 18 lakh. It will be available with both mild and powerful hybrid drivetrains. The SUV will be available in six different trim levels: Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha, Zeta Plus Hybrid, and Alpha Plus Hybrid. It is available in nine various colours, six of which are monotone and three of which are dual-tone. The Maruti Grand Vitara will be available with two engine choices. A 1.5L K15C dual-jet petrol engine with Smart Hybrid System will be one choice, while a 1.5L TNGA gasoline engine with Intelligence Hybrid Tech will be the other.
The powerful hybrid version will be driven by a Toyota 3-cylinder 1.5L TNGA Atkinson cycle engine. It will also feature a rechargeable battery with a voltage of 177.6V. The motor will be capable of producing 92.45PS of power when in hybrid mode, as well as 115.5PS and 122Nm of torque. It will be equipped with Toyota’s e-CVT.
