Most of the smartphone OEMs in China are working on Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1-powered flagship phones. Hence, it is likely that the device could be equipped with an SD+ 8G1 chipset and the company’s self-developed MariSilicon X chip. Furthermore, the tipster has speculated that Oppo may be working on its first clamshell with a foldable screen or a successor to the Oppo Find N foldable phone. 

OPPO has recently launched OPPO Reno 8 series smartphones in China. Rumors are rife that the global markets will receive the Reno 8 series this month. China got Oppo Reno 8 Pro+ with Dimensity 8100 chipset and Oppo Reno 8 Pro with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.

Rumors have it that these devices will be rebranded as Oppo Reno 8 Pro and Reno 8 in India and possibly in other markets. An OPPO device with model number CPH2357 has appeared in the database of the Geekbench benchmarking site. Since the device is powered by the D8100 chipset, it looks like it could be the global version of the Reno 8 Pro. The Geekbench appearance suggests that the company may test its performance internally before its official announcement.
