The Kia Seltos’s 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine could be replaced by a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine with more power and torque. It could make about 158bhp and 260Nm of torque. It can come with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT transmission. The SUV will have the same 1.5L gasoline and 1.5L diesel engines that are already available.

The 2023 Kia Seltos will also have a radar-based system to help the driver, the report says. ADAS technology will have features like adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, forward collision avoidance assist, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot collision avoidance assist, rear cross traffic collision avoidance assist, safe exit warning, high beam assist, and driver attention warning.
At the 2022 Los Angeles Motor Show, Kia just showed off the new facelift for the Seltos. The model for India might have a similar look to this one. It will have LED headlights with full projection and a large tiger-nose grille. It also have signature lighting in the shape of a star map on the front grille. And a new bumper will also enhance the look, vertically shaped fog lights with DRLs built in, and LED taillights.
The 2023 Kia Seltos will have a panoramic screen display that combines a 10.25-inch instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch centre display. The infotainment system will work with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto over the air. The digital driver display, electronic parking brake, and panoramic sunroof will all be updated on the new model.
