On February 10, 2023, the eighth ICC Women’s T20 World Cup would begin with a match between hosts South Africa and Sri Lanka.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) unveiled the 2023 Women’s Twenty20 World Cup schedule on Monday. South Africa will host the competition. On February 12, the Indian women’s cricket team will face Pakistan in the opening match of the Twenty20 World Cup. Ten teams will compete in the event.
On the morning of 10 February 2023, the eighth ICC Women’s Twenty20 World Cup will get underway with hosts South Africa taking on Sri Lanka. The group stage games will be held in Paarl and Gqebera, with the finals taking place in Cape Town.

The championship match for the 2022 Women’s Twenty20 World Cup will take place on February 26, 2023. The finalists have set aside Sunday, February 27, as a separate reserve day. India, together with Pakistan, England, the West Indies, and Ireland, will compete in Group 2, while the defending champions, Australia, will face Group 1’s New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh.

Matches for the group stage will continue till February 21. Each club will face the other four teams in their group in one game. The two best teams from each group will then move on to the semifinals.
