Customers are very happy with the Mahindra Scorpio-N, an SUV that was just released. It had a million pre-orders in the first 30 minutes that bookings were open. This means that it will take almost two years to get the SUV. The SUV will start to be shipped out in September. Anand Mahindra, Chairman of Mahindra Group, recently shared a video of how the Scorpio-N is made at the company’s plant. He did this to get customers even more interested. The video shows how the SUV is put together from start to finish. It starts with the sheet of metal being stamped. Then, the hinged parts like the hood, trunk, and doors are bolted on. Then the paint is put on and the interior trim is put in. In the video, the company has not shown how the drivetrain and powertrain are made. On the other hand, they can be seen being put up on a ladder-frame structure.
When will the delivery start
By December 2022, the company hopes to have sent out 20,000 of the new Scorpio-N. The top-of-the-line Z8L version of the SUV will be sent out first. The least expensive version of the car costs Rs 11.99 lakh, while the most expensive model starts at Rs 23.9 lakh. The first 25,000 people who book the new SUV will pay the starting prices.
Engine and Power
The Mahindra Scorpio N comes with engines that run on both gasoline and diesel. The first engine is a 2.0 Turbo Petrol, which has a max power of 200 Bhp and a max torque of 270 Nm. The second engine is a turbo diesel with 2.2 liters of capacity. There are two different kinds of this engine. In its lower version, it has 132 bhp of power and 300 Nm of torque. In its higher version, it has 175 bhp of power and 370Nm of torque.
