Mahindra XUV300 Electric SUV: Mahindra is focusing on electric vehicles along with petrol and diesel and the company is preparing to bring many new electric cars in the market in the next few years. One of these is the XUV300 electric SUV, which Mahindra has announced to launch by early 2023.
About a decade ago, Mahindra launched the e20 in the then all-new electric vehicle segment, which was the new avatar of the Mahindra Reva. Mahindra, which has been taking advantage of this opportunity very quickly, could not take advantage of this for long as the company did not push the electric vehicle line-up. In comparison, apart from Tata Motors and Hyundai India, MG Motor India has also launched electric vehicles in our market. Mahindra’s cars are very much liked in India and the XUV300 is one of them, although the price of the upcoming electric SUV will be the secret to its success. However, now the company has disclosed the launch details of the XUV300 Electric and it will be brought to the market by early 2023.

Mahindra then launched the battery-powered e-Verito sedan which was well received in India, currently, Mahindra is selling only this electric car. Now Mahindra has made up its mind to re-enter the EV segment and very soon the electric XUV300 can be introduced into the market. The pre-production model of this EV was showcased at the last Auto Expo. The company can bring the new XUV300 electric to the market by 2023, after which many more Mahindra cars will be launched.
Range up to 300 km on a full charge!
Mahindra is intending to launch many more electric vehicles under the new brand name. The 2023 Mahindra XUV300 electric SUV will likely get a 40 kW-R battery pack that makes 130 Bhp and gives a range of 300 km on a full charge. Recently its test model has been seen and after its launch in the market, the electric SUV is going to compete with Tata Nexon EV, Hyundai’s upcoming affordable electric car, and MG’s upcoming cheap electric car. It is being estimated that the starting ex-showroom price of this car in India will be around Rs 11-13 lakh.
