UPI is now gaining popularity as the simplest and most widely used method of payment. Within seconds, you may request or transfer money to anybody, anywhere. More than 200 million UPI transactions are made every day, which is a good indicator of the expanding trend of UPI payments. But it’s also crucial to be aware that there is a limit on the number of UPI transactions that may be made.
The BHIM UPI limitation is Rs. 1 lakh.
A maximum of Rs 2 lakh may be transacted using UPI at a time, according to material on the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) website. The most money that may be sent through BHIM UPI in a single transaction is Rs 1 lakh. The NPCI website states that the maximum withdrawal from a bank account per day is merely Rs 1 lakh.
May do ten transactions each day.
According to information on the website of HDFC Bank, the biggest private bank in India, you may use HDFC Bank UPI to send payments via UPI up to ten times per day with a maximum value of Rs 1 lakh.
Three categories of limitations exist.
The National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) has granted all banks the option to determine the UPI payment limit at their discretion. Different banks may have a different cap. For UPI payments, there are primarily three sorts of limits. The first restriction is the daily cap on transaction value. The second restriction is the most transactions that can be made at once, and the third limit is the most transactions that may be made in a day.
