Eastern Railway Apprentice Jobs 2022: There is good news for the youth who have obtained an ITI certificate from the Railways. Eastern Railway has invited applications for the 2972 Apprentice Posts. Recently, Railways started the process of application by issuing its notification. Now the last date of application for these posts is near. Eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of Eastern Railway by 20 May 2022. Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit. Candidates selected during apprenticeship will be given a fixed stipend every month.
Required qualification and age limit
Candidates applying for the posts of Apprentice should be a 10th pass from any recognized board. Apart from this, they should have an ITI certificate in the relevant trade certified by NCVT or SCVT. Applicants’ minimum age should be 15 years and the maximum age should be 24 years. You will get more information about this in the notification of this recruitment.
Selection Process and Application Fee
After the completion of the application process, Railways will prepare the merit list of the candidates on the basis of 10th and ITI marks. Those who will be able to make a place in the final list will be selected for an apprenticeship. Talking about the application fee, the application fee for the General, OBC, and EWS categories is Rs 100. Application is free for SC, ST Divyang, and women.
