England’s deadliest fast bowler Jofra Archer has been ruled out for the entire season due to a stress fracture in the groin and will not be able to play in the only cricket Test against India in July. The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) gave this information on Thursday. “England and Sussex fast bowler Jofra Archer has been ruled out for the rest of the season after being diagnosed with a stress fracture in his back,” the ECB said in a statement.

Archer has been out of competitive cricket indefinitely as the ECB has not set a deadline for his return. The ECB said, ‘No time frame has been fixed for his return.
