In the group stage of the 2022 Asia Cup, Team India will play Hong Kong on August 31, while Pakistan will play them on September 2.
Hong Kong, captained by Nizakat Khan, edged over the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 8 wickets to advance to the Asia Cup 2022 event, which begins this coming Saturday (August 27). During the Asia Cup 2022 qualification in Al Ameerat, Oman, Hong Kong was the lone unbeaten team.
In Group A of the Asia Cup 2022, Hong Kong will compete alongside India, captained by Rohit Sharma, and Pakistan, under the direction of Babar Azam. An exciting match featuring India and Pakistan will kick off Group A on Sunday (August 28). Even before the Super 4 stage begins, on September 2, India will play Hong Kong, and on September 31, Pakistan will play Hong Kong.

The last qualification game saw UAE bat first and set Hong Kong a 148-run target. UAE had trouble getting going. Early on, they dropped three wickets.
The best bowler was Ehsan Khan, who finished with 4/24.
Zarwar Farid scored 41 points on 27 balls, while UAE captain CP Rizwan scored 49 points overall.
Nizakat Khan with Yasim Murtaza added 85 runs for the initial stand, giving Hong Kong a quick start in the chase.
Babar Hayat and Kinchit Shah finished the proceedings with 6 balls remaining after Nizakat, as well as Yasim, were both out.
While Hayat was still unbeaten at 38 off 26 balls, Yasi Murtaza slammed a 58-ball score in 43 balls.

Sri Lanka will host the 2022 Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates.
Both the Dubai International Cricket Stadium and the Sharjah Cricket Stadium will host the matches.
