Hero MotoCorp has declared that it will raise pricing across its whole line of two-wheeled vehicles by up to Rs 1,000 to account for the rising cost of materials and production. The business announced in a filing with regulators that it will increase the ex-showroom costs of its scooters and motorcycles. The price increase will take effect instantly. To “partially reduce the effects of cost inflation,” the company announced that it will be increasing prices by an average of Rs 1,000 across the board. However, individual models and markets may see larger or smaller increases.

If we’re talking about the company’s ambitions for the future, we should mention that it’s also working on some brand-new Xpulse models. Hero MotoCorp plans to compete in the expanding 400 cc adventure touring motorcycle market. The Hero Xpulse 400, soon to be released, takes design cues from the front fairings of Dakar Rally motorcycles. The Hero Xpulse 400 will be competing in the 400 cc adventure touring motorcycle class among the likes of the latest Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, KTM 390 Adventure, and many others. There will also be a 400 cc version of the company’s naked streetfighter, the Xtreme. The BMW G310R, the KTM Duke 390, and other motorcycles will all be in the Hero Xtreme 400’s sights.
