The US tech giant Apple allegedly is considering adding unique features to the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which is expected to be on sale in 2023, after receiving favourable feedback on the iPhone 14 Pro models.
Ming-Chi Kuo speculates that the growing support for the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max may prompt the tech giant to further distinguish its next iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models.

IANS reports that Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes the company may further differentiate the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max in response to the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max’s overwhelming popularity.
“iPhone 14 Pro Max accounts for roughly 60% of the total order hike of Pro models, increasing iPhone ASP/product mix for 4Q22,” Kuo wrote on Twitter.
This, he predicted, would cause Apple to “further diverge among both iPhone 15 Pro Max & 15 Pro” in an effort to boost 15 Pro Max sales and enhance the iPhone product mix.
According to the report, Kuo previously stated that the iPhone 14 Pro Max will be the most popular model, making about 30–35% of the new product line.
A fresh report claims that in 2019, Apple could rebrand the Pro Max as the Ultra range of iPhones.
The “Pro Max” designation first appeared on iPhones in 2019 with the 11 series.
It was also reported by Kuo that the periscope lens will be only used for “Ultra” (6x or 5x).
The Ultra will also have a battery capacity enhancement that adds an extra 3 to 4 hours of usage time.
