For the past several years, Google has only introduced the Pixel A series of smartphones in India. However, with the recent announcement that the Pixel 7 range will be coming to India, things are about to change. Notably, the Pixel 3 series from 2018 was the last mainline “Made By Google” flagship to arrive in India. Due to several factors that Google cited, the Pixel 4, Pixel 5, & Pixel 6 did not debut in India. At the Built By Google event on October 6, 2022, the Pixel 7 range will debut.
There will be a Pixel 7 in India, as evidenced by the Flipkart banner and the Google India tweet.

Flipkart’s “Pixel 7 & Pixel 7 Pro are still on deck” banner from earlier today has since been removed. However, a recent tweet from Google India confirms that both the Pixel 7 & 7 Pro will arrive in India this fall.

A Look at Google’s Pixel 7 and Its Expected Release Date and Price
Google India has only confirmed that the Pixel 7 series is coming to India; no specific release date has been announced. However, given the company’s track record, the Pixel 7 may be released in India at the same time as the world as a whole on October 6, 2022, during the Made By Google launch event.
The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro were released by Google at lower pricing than Apple’s iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro at the moment, and given that Apple hasn’t announced prices for the iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Pro in the United States, Google may choose to maintain those lower prices. However, in other parts of the world, the situation could be very different.
What Is Known About the Upcoming Google Pixel 7?
Google’s second-generation Tensor system-on-chip, built with Samsung using a 4nm process, will be included in the Pixel 7 line to improve machine learning. It is also anticipated that the Pixel 7 & Pixel 7 Pro would keep the same design language as the Pixel 6, although with a revised camera module for increased durability.
