New Delhi: Samsung’s ‘One UI 5’ open beta program for the Galaxy S22 series (Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra) was launched on Sunday and is based on Android 13.

To get the latest beta version of One UI 5, you’ll first need to be in the US, Germany, or South Korea.
Customization, security, and accessibility features have been added to One UI 5 as a part of Samsung’s commitment to making the latest mobile experiences available to as many people as possible.
As part of the open beta, Samsung is offering early access to all of the new customizable features that come with One UI 5 and hopes to incorporate user feedback into the development of a better and more meaningful experience for everyone.

For the first time, users can now choose from up to 16 color themes based on their wallpaper, as well as 12 additional color options for their home screens, icons, and quick panels.
Widgets of equal size can be stacked on top of each other to save space and create a more organized look on the home screens of users.
According to Samsung, “One UI 5 streamlines the process of changing sound and vibration settings with reorganized menus that provide easy access to all ringtone volumes and vibration intensities.’
Samsung Galaxy users can now customize their preferred language settings for each of their apps.
One of the company’s newest features is a new icon in the camera’s Pro and Pro Video modes that provides helpful hints on how to make the most of the various lenses, controls, and features.
A new dashboard in One UI 5 lets users see their phone’s security status, indicating if there are any security issues, and recommending how to fix them, as well.
