There have been rumors that Nokia Mobile plans to release multiple 5G Nokia X and G series smartphones in the latter half of 2022. Now that news of the Nokia X30 5G and Nokia G80 5G has leaked, we know that the devices will indeed be released. The Nokia G80 5G is model number TA-1479, and the Nokia X30 5G is model number TA-1450, as seen in this screen grab from Free Mobile France’s website. The Nokia G80 5G, also known as the Nokia Apollo, has recently been spotted in an FCC filing. The Nokia G80 5G models TA-1479, TA-1481, TA-1490, and TA-1475 have all been verified as genuine by the FCC.

The Nokia G80 5G may have a triple-camera setup on its back, as suggested by a label in the device’s FCC certification. This might be a different and possibly improved camera module than the one found in the Nokia G21. There are single-SIM models (TA-1490 and TA-1475) and dual-SIM models (TA-1479 and TA-1481), as indicated by the model numbers.
