Tech Desk in New Delhi. In August, Reliance Jio introduced a new prepaid package with 90 days of validity, unlimited calling, an OTT subscription, and 2GB of daily internet for its consumers. This programme just cost Rs. 750. One of the most popular recharge packs offered by the firm was this one. Jio, however, just improved this package and reduced its cost by Re 1. Meaning that this plan’s pricing has now increased to Rs 749.
The telecom provider has left all of the features of the Rs 750 plan identical to those of the Rs 749 plan, however. But there is still a significant difference. Users of the company’s Rs 750 plan previously received an extra 100MB of data, but they no longer will with the Rs 749 plan. Tell us about the advantages of Jio’s new Rs 749 prepaid package.
Jio’s Rs 749 offer
Jio’s Rs 749 prepaid package has a 90-day validity period and offers 180GB of total data. This offers 100 daily SMS, unlimited phone conversations, 2GB of high-speed internet per day, and access to JioTV, JioCinema, Jio Security, and other Jio applications.
After all, why did the plan’s pricing change?
The question now is why Jio changed the plan’s pricing. After all, why was it just 1 rupee less expensive? Jio also uses a significant psychological marketing tactic that we refer to as the “Decoy Effect” to drive its Average Revenue Per User (ARPU). In light of this, the telecom provider provides three prepaid plans for less than $800 that include 2GB of data per day and have a validity of at least 30 days. These plans cost Rs 533, Rs 719, and Rs 749, respectively.
For Rs 533, 2GB per day is available with a 56-day validity. The following plan, priced at Rs. 719, provides 2GB of data each day with an 84-day validity, while Rs. 749 provides 2GB of data each day with a 90-day validity. As a result, users who pay an extra Rs 30 would get an additional 7 days of validity.
This is how the plans vary.
The consumer get 84 days of validity and 168GB of data overall with the 719 plan. However, you get 90 days of validity for the Rs 749 plan with this deal. This means that you may get an extra 7 days of validity for only Rs 30.
