Salman Khan responded openly to queries regarding the various rumours that have been spreading about him, including the claims that he was not going to host “Bigg Boss 16,” and that his costs have reached Rs 1,000 crore.

As part of a virtual news conference, Salman told reporters: “People constantly ask me whether I am going to be on the show, and I eventually get annoyed and tell them that I have no interest in appearing on it. But these people feel hopeless because they don’t know who else to turn to if not me. For this reason, they are trapped.” When the star said “they,” she was referring to the show’s creators.

There was talk that his fees totalled Rs 1 trillion, so he addressed the issue: “This is an impossible sum for me to earn, and if it ever did happen, I doubt I’d even bother going to work. Due to these rumours, the income-tax individuals will begin paying closer attention to my spending habits, particularly my spending on lawyers.”
When quizzed why he is taking on the hosting role once again, he stated: “This show has allowed me to expand my knowledge and meet interesting individuals while also helping them stay on the straight path whenever they stray. When I see someone being bullied, I step in to defend them and take my frustrations out on the bully. We become a close-knit group during the show’s four-month run.”
In response to whether or not he would like to bring a Bollywood couple to the event, Salman said: “No one. Inside, I don’t see how anyone could play. To put it more succinctly, it’s not the same thing at all. I wouldn’t reveal any identities, but I’d love to see a couple of candidates enter the house as solo players and emerge as a couple.”
The conversation then turned to Salman’s mom’s waning interest in the show. As he explained, “She formerly devoted a lot of time to watch it. She has expanded her television horizons and now enjoys a wider variety of programming. She may be reached her ‘Bigg Boss’ tolerance limit, which would explain her behaviour.”
Jokingly responding to a question about some advice his mother had given him, he said: “I’m supposed to go teach them a lesson, she says. That’s the reason why I get so pumped up!”
