This hybrid model is the most expensive one in the lineup, costing 18.99 lakh. In contrast, the base price of an out-of-showroom Hyundai Creta is only Rs 10.44 lakh. The Grand Vitara will be offered in seven different trim levels when it goes on sale: Sigma, Delta, Zeta, Alpha, Alpha AWD, Zeta Plus, & Alpha Plus.
The Engine of the Brand-New Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara
Using a 1.5-litre Atkinson-cycle internal combustion engine, an electric motor, and a battery pack, the strong-hybrid powertrain generates 114 horsepower and 122 Newton-meters of torque.
An electronic continuously variable transmission is used here.
For the mild hybrid models, a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine paired with 48-volt mild hybrid technology generates 101 horsepower and 136 Newton-meters (Nm) of peak torque.
There will be a 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission available.
This engine will also be offered in an AWD configuration, but only when paired with a manual transmission.
In addition, the AWD versions will feature different modes of operation, including Sport, Snow, Auto, & Lock.
