Akshay Kumar’s film Raksha Bandhan has received good reviews from the audience but this film also seems to be failing to earn as expected. The graph of the film fell on the sixth day of its release.
It would not be wrong to say that this year is proving to be bad for the Bollywood box office. The failure of films one after the other at the box office is a big setback for the entertainment industry. After the decline in the earnings of Lal Singh Chaddha, now Akshay starrer Raksha Bandhan has also seen a decline. Let’s know what was the collection of the film on the 6th day of its release.
Even after good reviews,
Akshay Kumar was lucky that his film remained away from the scope of Boycott. Not only this, but the film also got good reviews from the audience. But from the opening collection itself, the pace of this film at the box office seems to be slow now. The film could only earn Rs 2.10 crore on the 6th day of its release. The film registered a collection of Rs 34.47 crore in five days of release and thus the total earnings of Raksha Bandhan in 6 days of release has gone up to 36.57 crores.
Talking about the hit flop chart of Akshay Kumar’s films, except for Suryavanshi last year
He has been given three flops in a year. Akshay Kumar’s Bell Bottom (August 19, 2021), Bachchan Pandey (March 18, 2022), and Samrat Prithviraj (June 3, 2022) remained breathless at the box office. His only hit during this period has been Sooryavanshi (November 5, 2021), which was made on a production budget of around Rs 160 crore and did a lifetime business of Rs 196 crore in India and a lifetime collection of Rs 295 crore worldwide.
