With the Hector SUV, MG Motors entered the Indian market. It debuted in the year 2019. The Hector, dubbed India’s first “Internet SUV,” is still MG Motor’s best-selling vehicle. Since its introduction in India three years ago, the Hector has consistently been at the top of MG Motor’s lineup in terms of sales, selling an average of almost 1,500 units each month. In addition to Hector, the manufacturer also produces the MG Gloster, MG Astor, and MG ZS EV.

This SUV’s starting price in India is Rs. 14.42 lakh (ex-showroom). The most expensive Hector SUV model is now offered for Rs. 20.36 lakh (ex-showroom). Both gasoline and diesel engines are available for it. Customers have the choice between a manual and a CVT gearbox. Its rivals include the Mahindra Scorpio N, Hyundai Alcazar, Tata Harrier, and Mahindra XUV700. By the end of next month, the MG Hector’s next generation version with a number of changes is also anticipated.
More functionality will be added, and the upgraded Hector’s look will alter. According to the manufacturer, the grille will have a new appearance and be surrounded by gloss black parts and headlight housing. Additionally, the MG Hector will sport the largest infotainment screen in its class. A 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system and an ADAS (Advanced Driver Aids System) feature will also be included.
