Maruti’s electric SUV, is ready and will be released in January 2023.

Maruti Electric SUV: In the next years, Maruti Suzuki plans to join the EV (electric vehicle) industry. Media sources state that the business is developing a mid-size electric SUV under the codename Maruti YY8, which might be shown as a concept EV during the 2023 Auto Expo in January. Early in 2025, a version suitable for manufacturing may appear. Toyota will work with Maruti to build the first electric SUV.

Tata Nexon EV

In terms of cost, the Tata Nexon EV, which ranges in price from Rs 14.99 lakh to Rs 20.04 lakh, will be competed against by the new Maruti electric SUV (all, ex-showroom). The cost of the YY8 is reportedly between Rs 13 lakh and Rs 15 lakh. The market would have altered significantly by the time this automobile arrives, thus forecasting its price at this time would not be particularly accurate.

The vehicle will display an entirely new futuristic design language. Official information on the next new Maruti electric vehicle is scarce. However, it is anticipated to include two battery packs, 48 kWh and 59 kWh, with a range of around 400 km and 500 km, respectively. It may have between 138 and 170 horsepower.
