This is the 3rd time that Mahindra has raised the pricing of the XUV700 & Thar models, and the price increases have been noticeable.
The reception to the recent Mahindra product launches in our market has been nothing short of fantastic. The length of time people in India have to wait to buy one of these SUVs is indicative of how popular they are. Furthermore, given there are still many unfulfilled orders on the books, the business has been gradually raising the cost of these models. Specifically, the ex-showroom pricing of the Mahindra XUV700 and the Mahindra Thar has been increased by Rs 37,000. In addition, Mahindra XUV700 prices have dropped by Rs 6,000 as of late.

XUV700 costs have unfortunately climbed from roughly Rs 22,000 to Rs 35,000 for the petrol version, and from about Rs 22,000 to Rs 35,000 for the diesel variants. All Mahindra Thar petrol models saw a price increase of Rs 6,000, while diesel models saw increases of up to Rs 28,000. The entry-level price for this three-door off-road vehicle is Rs 13.53 lakh (ex-showroom), with higher trim levels costing up to Rs 16.28 lakh.
While the lowest-priced Mahindra XUV700 costs Rs 13.63 lakh, the most expensive model costs Rs 24.95 lakh. Both a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol mStallion and a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel mHawk are available in the XUV700. The XUV700 offers a manual 6-speed transmission as well as an automatic 6-speed transmission.
The Thar offers comparable customization possibilities, but its 4X4 drivetrain comes standard on every model. It also has a lockable rear differential and a low-range transfer case. The front axle brake lock is also standard on higher specification levels. The front suspension is independent while the rear axle is solid.
