Kia India, the country’s fourth largest automobile manufacturer, has announced the debut of the Kia EV6, the country’s first ever electric vehicle. Kia has begun taking reservations for the EV6 in India, with prices starting at Rs 3 lakh. The Kia EV6 will be imported in India in a small batch, with only 100 units available. The EV is only available through 15 dealerships in India, spread across 12 cities. The Kia EV6 is built on the company’s specialised electric vehicle platform, E-GMP, and is designed to provide superior mobility to its customers. Kia EV6 Colour Options
The interior of the Kia EV6 is completely black, including black suede seats and vegan leather bolsters. Moonscape, Snow White Pearl, Runway Red, Aurora Black Pearl, and Yacht Blue are the five exterior colours available for the Kia EV6 in India.
Kia EV6 Charging
The car will be offered in India in premium GT Line trims and will feature cutting-edge technologies like as the multi-charging system, which is the world’s first charging system to work with both 400V and 800V chargers without the use of a separate controller. Using a 350KWh charger, the 800 V charger can charge the vehicle from 10% to 80% in as little as 18 minutes.
Kia EV6 Powertrain
The 77.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack in the India version of the EV6 generates 229 PS electric power in 2WD and a thrilling 325 PS in AWD. According to the WLTP combined cycle, the car can drive up to 528 kilometres on a single full charge. The Kia EV6 accelerates from zero to 100 kilometres per hour in 5.2 seconds.
