Right now the demand for CNG cars remains tremendous.CNG is not only a cheap option, but it is also a good option in terms of mileage. Maruti expanded its CNG portfolio by launching the Celerio and Dzire this year. The Celerio CNG has launched in January at a starting price of Rs 6.58 lakh. While the Desire CNG was launched in March at an initial price of Rs 8.14 lakh. Maruti cars offered with CNG option include Alto, WagonR, Ertiga and Eeco.The company is also planning to launch Brezza and some Nexa range of vehicles in CNG.
Swift CNG
Like the DZire, the Maruti Swift will also be launched in CNG option VXi and ZXi variants.Maruti’s CNG vehicles are costlier than petrol vehicles.The Swift VXI 5MT Petrol and ZXI 5MT Petrol variants are priced at Rs 6.82 Lakh and Rs 7.50 Lakh, respectively.

When will launch
Maruti dealership has started unofficial booking of Swift CNG for Rs 11,000.It is likely to launch in the coming weeks.Apart from this, the company is preparing to launch the new Alto K10, the booking of which has officially started.
Swift CNG Mileage
Dzire CNG is currently the highest mileage CNG sedan, giving a mileage of 31.12 km/kg. Expect the Swift CNG to give even higher mileage of around 30-35 km/kg.
