2022 Maruti Brezza Teaser: Official bookings for the new generation Maruti Brezza subcompact SUV have been started across the country. Interested buyers can pre-book the model by paying an initial amount of Rs 11,000 by visiting any of the Arena showrooms or online from the company’s official website. The carmaker has also released the first teaser of the new 2022 Maruti Brezza, in which it is visible in a bit. Along with this, it has also been revealed from the teaser that the SUV is going to get an electric sunroof.
The new 2022 Maruti Brezza will get the next generation hybrid K-series engine with the updated Ertiga. This will be a 1.5L, 4-cylinder K15C DualJet petrol engine, which is likely to generate 103bhp power and 136.8Nm torque. The subcompact SUV could also be made available with a CNG kit option. On the other hand, in terms of transmission options, a 5-speed manual and a new 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission with paddle shifters can also be given.
The new Maruti Brezza 2022 is going to be even better in terms of safety. The subcompact SUV can get 6 airbags and an Electronic Stability Program (ESP). Hill hold support and tire pressure monitoring system can also be given in this. Although the company has not yet revealed its features, according to reports, the new Brezza is likely to be equipped with an updated touchscreen infotainment system.
It can get a lot more including a 360-degree camera, heads-up display (HUD), twin-dial instrument cluster, rear AC vents, and new-gen telematics. Apart from this, major changes will also be made in its exterior. With all these updates, the price of the new 2022 Maruti Brezza is likely to increase by Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000. It currently comes in a price range of Rs 7.84 lakh to Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
