If you’re looking for a high-performance motorcycle for less than Rs 3 million, KTM is your best bet. The GP editions of the RC 200 & RC 390 have been released today. The KTM RC 200 GP Edition retails for Rs 2.15 lakh (about $3,050), while the KTM RC 390 GP Edition retails for $3,170 (about $4,050). As for the cost, it’s about the same as the standard model of these motorcycles. Still, the GP Edition does not introduce many new features. Likewise, nothing has changed mechanically.
Both KTM RC 390 & RC 200 have new GP Editions that are being sold throughout the nation at the same costs as their regular equivalents.

The most obvious visual difference between the GP Edition and the standard model is the GP’s new darkened visor, blacked-out finishes, black KMT decals, and black alloy wheels. The new paint job features a vibrant orange base colour with black decals for contrast.
KTM has not made any changes to the mechanical components of the GP Edition of the RC 390 or RC 200. The former still receives a 373 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with a peak output power of 43.5 bhp and max torque of 37 Nm. Slipper clutch 6-speed transmissions are available. More so, the RC 390 has a suspension that can be adjusted at both the front and rear. The front brake rotor measures 320 millimetres in diameter, while the rear brake rotor measures 230 millimetres.
The KTM RC 200 has a single-cylinder engine with a displacement of 199.5 cc, capable of producing 25 horsepower & 19.2 Nm of peak torque. The 6-speed gearbox is coupled to the motor that is cooled by liquid. The KTM RC 200, surprisingly, shares its brakes with the KTM RC 390.
