Next year, another premier moto racing event will make its debut in India, years after Formula One abruptly left the country after successfully staging the Indian Grand Prix at the Greater Noida’s Buddh International Circuit (BIC) for a number of years. The ‘Grand Prix of Bharat’ will be held at the BIC beginning in 2023, and it will be organised by the MotoGP carnival, the world’s finest two-wheeled racing championship.
At a gathering in New Delhi on Wednesday, the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) and business partners Dorna Sports revealed the development (September 21).

In a press conference held on Wednesday in New Delhi, the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) and its commercial partners Dorna Sports made the announcement (September 21). Fair street Sports, located in Noida, India, and Dorna Sports, based in Italy, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly host the Grand Prix of Bharat for the next seven years.
A number of the world’s best motorcycle brands, including Honda, Ducati, Yamaha, KTM, & Aprilia, will be sending representatives to the Grand Prix of Bharat. Fair street Sports (FSS), a race promotion company based in Noida, will be present at the competition and will collaborate closely with the organisers to guarantee its success.
Fair street Sports COO Pushkar Nath told the news agency PTI that they had prepared thoroughly for the organisation of the high-profile event.
The organisers insist they have learned from Formula One’s mistakes of the past nine years.
