In India, Samsung’s fourth-generation foldable have seen strong demand, with over 50,000 pre-orders for the Galaxy Fold 4 and Galaxy Flip 4 in a little over a day.
Raju Pullan, Senior Vice President and Head of MX sales at Samsung India, stated on Wednesday that the company has seen a healthy demand for its 4th generation of foldable phones in India, recording more than 50,000 pre-bookings for the Galaxy Fold 4 and Galaxy Flip 4 in less than 12 hours.
The record-breaking numbers were recorded on the first day of the pre-booking session for foldable phones on August 16th.
“This year, Samsung plans to sell approximately one and a half times as many foldable phones. Since the new foldable models come with significant improvements over those of the previous year’s models, we are certain that we will meet our goal ” Pullan explained to IANS.
He said that the company’s intention to increase the foldable experience in India this time was the reason for the huge number of pre-bookings.

Samsung has added more places where you can buy the Fold 4 and Flip 4. Now, you can buy these high-end phones in over 10,000 cities and towns, including tier 2 cities and places even farther away.According to Pullan, this is twice as many stores as there were last year that sold foldable phones.
Samsung has also used well over 12,000 demo units of the Fold 4 and Flip 4 in India to make sure that customers have a good time with these devices before they buy them.”With its Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor and 50MP camera, the Fold4 is the most potent PC you can carry in your pocket.

According to a statement from the company, the “Bespoke Edition” would cost Rs 97,999 and be sold at Samsung Live and Samsung Exclusive Stores. The “Bespoke Edition” would have different glass colours and frame options. The 12GB+256GB version of the Galaxy Z Fold4 costs Rs 154,999. The 12GB+512GB version costs Rs 164,999. It comes in Grey-green, Beige, and Phantom Black colours.
Customers can also get the 12GB+1TB variant for Rs 184,999 at Samsung Live and Samsung Exclusive Stores.
