Tata Motors continues to lead the Indian market for electric vehicles with its Tata Harrier, Safari, and Altroz Electric models. Mahindra will now join in on this market. Mahindra will shortly introduce the Mahindra XUV400, an electric SUV. But Mahindra’s plans were severely criticised by Tata Motors. The next Auto Expo 2023 will feature three brand-new electric vehicles from Tata Motors. Together with the Harrier and Safari SUVs, these three vehicles represent the Altroz’s electric incarnation. One day before the Auto Expo, Tata issued their teaser.

how far a full charge will go
Since the Tata Altroz EV was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show three years ago, its release was eagerly anticipated. This will make use of the battery that powers the Nexon EV. It will feature a 30.2 kWh battery pack that can provide 245 Nm of maximum torque and 129 PS of power at its peak. On a full charge, the Altroz EV has a range of around 350 kilometres.
In the coming days, the Punch EV is also anticipated to make its premiere at the Auto Expo. It has a lithium-ion battery pack with a capacity of 26 kWh. On a single charge, the Punch EV should have a range of around 300 kilometres.
