Nissan India presents the new SUVs it will be selling in India, including the X-Trail, Qashqai, and Juke. The X-Trail will go on sale first, followed by the other two.
Today, Nissan revealed its plans for the Indian market by showcasing the X-Trail, Qashqai, and Juke, three of its next sport utility vehicles (SUVs). While Nissan presented the next Juke, they also revealed that testing has begun on the X-Trail & Qashqai.
Nissan’s goal is to determine how well each SUV will perform in the Indian market, therefore the evaluations will look at how well it satisfies customer expectations. Nissan is putting their three SUVs through their paces at their plant in Chennai.
Nissan indicated that once inspection is completed, the X-Trail would be launched for sale first, accompanied by the Nissan Qashqai and the Nissan Juke, all of which were designed with Indian roads and topography in mind.

” Since the Nissan Magnite has been so well received in India, the company has decided to invest even more effort into developing and marketing the high-quality sport utility vehicles (SUVs) for which Nissan is known.
Nissan will spend the next several weeks evaluating the viability of several models throughout its global lineup for a future prospective automobile line-up in India.
Long-term domestic and export production feasibility is being looked at, along with the possibility of electrification, as part of this comprehensive evaluation.
Nissan X-Trail
There will be a total of three engine options for the Nissan X-Trail: a turbo-petrol engine of mild-hybrid technology that produces 163 PS and 300 Nm; an e-Power strong hybrid engine that produces 204 PS and 330 Nm; and an all-wheel drive variant of the strong hybrid engine that produces 213 PS as well as 330 Nm (front) & 195 Nm (rear) torque.
Nissan Qashqai
Today, Nissan India introduced the Qashqai SUV, which features its hybrid e-power system. The Qashqai features a 12.3-inch instrument panel cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a shift-by-wire gear selection, connected-car technology, and advanced driver assistance systems.
NISSAN JUKE
The Nissan Juke comes standard with either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch DCT with paddle shifters with a 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine producing 115 horsepower and 200 Nm (with over boost). The Juke is equipped with a Wi-Fi hotspot and an infotainment system with an eight-inch touchscreen.
In July, Nissan introduced the Magnite RED edition, which is available in three different engine and transmission configurations (1.0-liter MT, 1.0-liter Turbo MT, and 1.0-liter Turbo CVT) to provide customers with flexibility.
It gets a 4-star safety certification from the NCAP. The R16 diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED fog lamp, plus LED Daytime Running Lamps (DRL) are all carried over from the standard model to the RED Edition.
