During the Christmas season, when many stores offer discounts on iPhones of all models, Apple has raised the price of its least expensive smartphone in India. If you don’t count the discounts that Apple offers on the iPhone 11 & iPhone 12 models, the iPhone SE 3 (2022) is the cheapest iPhone you can buy. The third generation iPhone SE, also known as the iPhone SE 2022, debuted for Rs 43,900 in early March of this year.
If discounts are excluded from the pricing of the iPhone 11 & iPhone 12 models, the iPhone SE 3 (2022) is by far the cheapest iPhone.

The A15 Bionic chipset drove Apple’s iPhone SE 3 (2022). Identical chipsets are used in both the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 devices that aren’t the Pro version. Both the rear and front cameras on the smartphone are high-resolution. This smartphone has a screen size of 4.7 inches. The IP67-certified iPhone SE 3 is offered in three different colours: (PRODUCT) RED, (MIDNIGHT), and (STARLIGHT).
The iPhone Se 3 now costs Rs 49,900 (a rise of Rs 6,000), as stated on the official Apple website. All iPhone SE 2022 storage upgrades have seen price increases from Apple as well. The 128GB model of the iPhone SE 3 is now priced at Rs 54,900 (up from Rs 48,900) while the 256GB model is priced at Rs 64,900 (up from Rs 58,900).
However, Apple’s decision to raise prices for the iPhone SE 3 remains mysterious. The depreciation of the Indian rupee against the United States dollar is one likely explanation. Additionally, the iPhone SE 3 may continue to be one of the most popular iPhones in India due to its 5G connectivity, despite the success of newer models like the iPhone 12 & iPhone 13. There hasn’t been any announcement about 5G support for other iPhone models in India just yet.
As of today (16 October), Flipkart is selling the 64GB model of the iPhone SE 2022 for Rs 47,990 and the 128GB model for Rs 52,990.
